Aavalar Consulting has an immediate need for a Project Manager / Team Lead to run a fairly large VOIP implementation for a client in the Philadelphia area. The implementation will be based on Cisco VIOP technology and span 30+ remote offices around the US. A preliminary description follows. More detail to come shortly..
Consultant's Title: VOIP Project Manager
Work Location: Philadelphia PA, w/ possible travel to remote locations
Is Telecommuting possible? Probably not... This is internal customer facing
Work environment: TBD... could be pretty dynamic
Who does this position will report to?: TBD... Probably CIO and/or senior consultant
Why is there a need for a consultant/contractor?:
> This is a new implementation
What is the start date of the contract: ASAP
What is the anticipated length/scope of the contract? TBD
What is the size of department? TBD
What projects will the consultant be involved with:
> Enterprise VOIP Implementation
Responsibilities:
> Work with our client's management team, technology department, and hardware/systems vendor to assure that the implementation meets the client's specifications.
Role with the group: Project Manager / Team Lead / Implementer
Required Skills:
> VOIP subject matter expertise
> Experience working as a Project Manager or Team Lead for large VOIP/Telephony implementation(s)
Desired Skills:
> Cisco VOIP HW/SW experience
> Project management certification
Selling point of the job:
> This is a large stable client and the project is high priority and high visibility
Work Hours and Schedule: Typical business hours with overtime as needed.
